Repairs to the lightning conductor on the church tower : hopefully this will prevent a recurrence of the damage done by a lightning strike in 1999 when one of the pinnacles at the top of the tower fell onto the tower roof, causing damage to the bells, and necessitating the inspection which revealed further problems with the stonework and roofing which in turn gave rise to this appeal.
